A Classic Winter Solstice Wedding in Kansas

Winter weddings hold a special place in my heart. The color palettes, the cooler tones, the cooler weather. All these things just make my creative heart soar. Caleigh & Andrew’s Winter Solstice Wedding was all a winter wedding should be. While it was different from what they had previously planned it was still absolutely gorgeous. There was more than love in the air, there was a tangible feeling of fondness and appreciation for the moments everyone was able to experience together. Safely Together. That was what really mattered to Caleigh and Andrew. They wanted those who could attend with minimal risk to attend (with precautions) and for those that were unable to attend, they provided a live feed of the festivities throughout the celebration. It wasn’t the same, but it was a close second. After capturing multiple weddings whose guests through caution to the wind, I was so happy that Caleigh and Andrew adapted and claimed their day despite the pandemic with joy in their hearts.

Come along as we take a brief journey throughout their day. From the Sunrise First Look behind The Thompson Barn to the Bell Ringing Send-Off. Not a moment was missed and I am excited to share a few of them with you here today.
