To say this wedding meant a lot to me is the understatement of the year. Over the last year and a-half or so I’ve come to know the Rogers family throughout the wedding planning process and via social media (thank you Facebook). I first met Tyler (Smith) and Breanne (Rogers) last year at a wedding I was covering for Breanne’s cousin, Deon over in Leavenworth. I really fell in love with Breanne’s entire family as I observed what a blessing they were to my bride. We connected via Facebook shortly after that day after I shared Deon’s wedding photography previews. When I read on a post that Tyler had proposed via Facebook, I said a little prayer that they would contact me to cover their wedding too. Guess what? They did!
When the day finally arrived, I felt like we were old friends. We knew the day would look a bit different than originally planned due to Covid-19 but it was still an exceptional day with lots of love and good memories. If I’m being completely honest I really enjoyed the smaller guest list because I got to spend more time creating meaningful portraits throughout the day.
Keep scrolling down to see the story of their beautiful day and don’t forget to share!
P.S. Do note the gorgeous wedding party “fun” portraits we shot outside the venue. I chose to share these rather than the traditional formal ones in hopes of helping my other Graced Couples impacted by the pandemic that there is still a lot of fun to be had… pandemic or no.
