A Thompson Barn Wedding

Logan and Abby booked their wedding with me long before the Covid-19 Pandemic visited us. This gorgeous couple didn’t let all the restrictions rain despair down upon their day. They dug their heels in and got to re-planning. They paired down the guest list, provided masks and placed hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue. The moved the ceremony location outdoors (even in the July heat) so guests to go mask-less if they chose and perhaps most importantly, they never lost sight of the fact that they were each getting to marry each other. Pandemic be damned.

Abby’s approach to all the challenges reminded me of the answer she put on her questionnaire months before the pandemic regarding the most valuable piece of advice she had for other brides…

“It is very stressful. Just when you think everything is ready, something is going to happen. Don’t get too attached to a specific idea. Be flexible and ready to change your ideas slightly.”

I was so happy I was able to capture so many beautiful memories that were made on their special day! Congratulations Logan and Abby!
